Maxxis Slopestyle Training
Day 2 of Slopestyle training is where runs start to heat-up for qualifications the following day.
A Colorado Freeride Festival classic. The Air Downhill is a test of a rider's ability to charge a flowy, berm-filled, world-class course on Rainmaker, the premier jump trail in the USA. This race will take place from Upper Rainmaker to 5 Points and spectators can watch from the start or along the course (bike and hike-in access required).
Super Downhill Prologue
Say what? We prefer why not?! We are throwing in a fun way to get warmed up for the racing weekend, while not taking things too seriously. This spectator-friendly race will use Trestle’s trail Green Horn-it! and the pump track before finishing in the Village. This prologue will be the basis for seeding the start of the Super Downhill racers. Fastest racers in the prologue will start first the following day. These start positions could make the difference in the final standings

Have an aspiring young racer? Get them started with the right skills and techniques to give them a better race day experience. This clinic, run by our Trestle Ride School professionals, is designed for beginner/novice racers that are considering competing in the Green Horn-it! Challenge. Maxxis Slopestyle Open Qualifications
Riders who want a shot at the $25,000 in prize money must advance through qualifications first. Bring a blanket to sit on the hillside and watch these athletes do whatever it takes to make it in the Top 16.
With the popularity of Enduro racing, Super Downhill has been overshadowed, but the Colorado Freeride Festival is bringing back this heart-pounding test of skill and endurance! Think of this race as a single stage Enduro where the athletes race from the top of Trestle Bike Park to the base. Best spectating will be along the course (requiring lift access) and at the finish area.
Green Horn-it! Challenge
We are serious about offering racing for all ability levels and igniting a passion in kids for the sport we love. Check out the junior racers and cheer them on to fame! This race, which is held on Trestle’s introduction trail Green Horn-it!, is geared for beginner/novice racers and is a great way to initiate them into the fun and excitement of mountain bike racing. Whether it be on a balance bike, 16”, 18” or 20” wheels, let the children race! This race does not require a lift ticket as it is accessed via the Village Cabriolet.
Pump Track Challenge (non-pro event)
We built a new permanent pump track that is begging for a race! This non-pro event will let the riders showcase their bike handling skills and speed. Located at the bottom of Green Horn-it! and under the Village Cabriolet, this fast-paced event is incredibly spectator friendly.
Movie Night - Zootopia
After an exciting Family Day of racing and spectating, sit back and relax on the lawn at the base of the Zephyr lift and enjoy a free show under the stars.
Saturday Events – July 29
